Illinois legislators have passed a state
budget, allowing construction of Glenview Road Streetscape Project to resume. Contractors will arrive onsite on Monday,
July 10, 2017 and begin construction at 7:00 a.m.
In the next construction phase, the Contractor will be working to remove and replace the sidewalk on the north side of Glenview Road from Pine Street to Waukegan Road, then on the south side of Glenview Road from Waukegan Road to Church Street. Improvements also include irrigation system improvements; new street lighting; improved landscaping; stamped and colored concrete; traffic signal upgrades, and roadway repaving.
