Sidewalk Construction on South Side of Glenview Road On-Going

Work Performed, August 28th to September 1st  
·         Poured concrete sidewalk adjacent to buildings on the south side of Glenview Road from bridge to Waukegan Road
·         Poured colored and stamped concrete sidewalk from bridge to Waukegan Road
·         Poured concrete curb & gutter from River Drive to Church Street within pavement widening area.
·         Poured concrete within Veteran’s Memorial at River Drive
·         Continue with irrigation piping installation.
·         Continue with underground electrical conduit installation
·         Set posts and mast arms for new traffic signals at Church Street and Glenview Road
·         General site clean-up in preparation for Labor Day weekend.

Work Anticipated to be Performed, September 5th to September 8th  
·         No work planned over weekend or Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day
·         Pour stamped and colored concrete at Veteran’s Memorial at River Drive
·         Pour concrete sidewalk from bridge to Church Street
·         Remove existing concrete sidewalk from railroad tracks to Pine Street (Near Glenview House)
·         Install underground conduits and piping near Glenview House
·         Begin pouring concrete sidewalk on south side of Glenview Road from railroad tracks to Pine Street (near Glenview House)
·         Continue with underground irrigation piping on south side of Glenview Road
·         Continue with underground electrical piping on south side of Glenview Road.
·         Continue installation of traffic signal posts and mast arms for new traffic signals at Church Street and Glenview Road.

Work is continuing to progress along the south side of Glenview Road. Next week the contractor will focus work in the area between the railroad tracks and Pine Street. It is anticipated a majority of work in this area will be completed prior the Oktoberfest event planned at The Glenview House in mid-September.
